I needed to reschedule an appointment to be seen sooner. The scheduler Molly was able to move my appointment up to the next day. She was very pleasant and helpful.
Everyone was so very nice. The nurse, Lisa, was exceptionally great taking care of me. Dr. Hartley was also very nice and talked me through everything she was about to do. Highly recommend them!
From the beginning that's a bright smiling face coming in the door ,met with kindness, getting registered in was easy as 1 2 3. Done ultrasound was done with laughing and talking with the people very good people ,beautiful people . Felt very comfortable around them. Got my ultrasound readout and it was a nice, very friendly person that gave me the readout on my ultrasound. And it was done before I thought I would be done. All in excellence. I have complete trust in Michael Douglas, the doctor I see at CV, and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and have good interpersonal skills. I've found appointment schedules are typically kept and, on a recent visit experienced an especially thoughtful intake nurse who did not rush, asked and answered questions in a particularly pleasant manner.
The most professional environment i have ever been. Dr. Kirby is awesome and shows his love and caring for patients. Has saved my life and even came in hospital to check on me. All employees are very professional and show they care with smiles.
Things went okay and on schedule. When the ultra sound was done I thought I was finished. I was told to wait in the lobby waiting room. I did so for 40 minutes. I then asked why I was waiting and was told that the results of the ultra sound would be reviewed with myself. I wasn't told that before hand but that was the only glitch. I didn't realize that I would know the results that day. All else was good. Staff could have been more informative.
I went to the ER over a week ago and was diagnosed with venous thoracic outlet syndrome, which I’ve since been out of work for. The ER doc and my primary care physician both recommended I follow up with Carolina Vascular. Myself, my mom, and my doctor have each called (multiple times) and every time we’re dismissed. This morning I learned from my doctor that they won’t see me, and they want me to drive 2-4 hours to see someone elsewhere (they gave no good reason for this, they just don’t want to see me). Don’t expect to get a call back from this place, because you won’t get one. I’ve been promised a follow up call multiple times by various receptionists over a week and haven’t heard ANYTHING. My life has been on hold since this started, and I’m back to square 1 after waiting a week because of their poor communication. They sound nice on the phone, but clearly don’t give a flying eff.
It is unnerving and disappointing that I never know who I'm going to see. I suppose I might see my doctor when I have an emergency. This last visit as I was waiting for the NP (the one I had requested) to come in, a different one came in saying the first one had gotten tired up with another patient. I truly understand these things so I don't like complaining about that. However, the NP who came in was barely familiar with me, having only just read my test results. There was hesitation in the interview although she did ask if I had any questions. I tried to be as clinical as possible and not let my anxiety over seeing yet a different person cloud my experience. I feel no confidence in discussing my condition with someone who is not nor
is going to be familiar with m me.
To add to my discomfort, the check out process was not at all covid restrictive. The room is entirely too small to have 4 patients, two of whom were in wheelchairs sitting in close proximity. One had no mask and was talking to me and reaching out to touch me as I walked past. The scheduler came out and actually tried to start the appointment process in the waiting room but after a bit of awkwardness decided to take me to her cubicle.
